On Day One of our backpacking trip in the Wind River Range, we tackle the iconic Cirque of the Towers. Years ago, I saw this beautiful place on video and promised myself that I would see it someday. Well, this was the day. The climb was tough, but the payoff was incredible.
On Day Two, we tackle Texas Pass. The beauty of the Wind River Range was definitely on display with this amazing climb and view of the other side of the Mountains.
By Day Three on the Wind River Range, we hit Hat Pass. The climb was tough and the day was long. But, we made it up and over while soaking in the beauty of Wyoming.
On Day Four, we climbed Lester Pass. This pass was one of the toughest climbs of the week. But, along the way, we saw beautiful waterways, snow, and lakes with fish almost jumping out to greet us.
Our last pass of the journey was Green River Pass. Once we climbed the mountain to the top, there was an enormous shelf that almost looked like a prairie on top. We made it to the peak and went down the other side to camp on the last night of our journey, before completing the adventure on the following day.
